The Seal Buoy is about a mile out of the docks in King Harbor, Redondo Beach, CA. the weather and conditions are ever changing day to day as well as hour to hour. The sea lions and seals jump on and off constantly trying for the best spot.

Rounding the 1st Pin (about 2 miles out of the safety of the harbor)for the 1st time last October. It was such an accomplishmentat that time. Now a year later I’m out past the 2nd pin and paddling 4 miles with the whales and dolphins (my incentive). They are majestic, wild and graceful. I’m ever grateful they “share” their space with us. This certainly is not the most flattering photo BUT I’m going for the adventure – no longer sitting on the sidelines!
